Where's my agent? lists established estate agencies on the Costa del Sol and describes each one only with facts the agency publishes itself. Agencies cannot pay to change their facts.
Where the facts come from
- Finding agencies. We search Google Maps for estate agencies in every town on the coast. Only businesses with their own website and an open office are included.
- Reading their websites. We read each agency's homepage and its about, team, contact and legal notice pages. Websites that ask search engines not to read them are left out.
- Recording the facts. Languages, start year, team size, areas, licences and company details are taken from that text. Each fact is saved with the sentence it came from and the date we checked it, and the source is shown on the agency's page.
- Ratings. Ratings and review counts come from Google.
"Speaks" and "Website in"
An agency is shown as speaking a language only when its website says its team speaks it. Many agencies offer their website in several languages without saying who speaks them; those are shown separately as "Website in", so you know to ask.
Who is listed
We list agencies that sell homes for their clients and have a team. One-person businesses, developers selling a single project, rental-only companies and listing portals are not included.
Something wrong?
Every listing has a "Something wrong here?" link. Reports are checked against the agency's website within a week.
